Craig taught for many years in north London secondary schools before training as an actor at The Poor School. He has appeared in cabaret at venues such as The Kings Head, Canal Café and the Theatre Museum and directed several youth productions including Grease and Guys and Dolls.

Recent theatre work includes a revival of Was He Anyone? by N.F. Simpson at the Union Theatre and I Love at Stratford Circus.
