Whilst at YPTC, Nelio played Wilbur Kowalski in Flamingo Blues at the Unicorn Theatre in July 2007. Outside of YPTC, Nelio played Ernesto Roma in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, at the Arts Depot Studio, Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet at Barnet College and performed as Magic Gomes for a devised children’s piece at the Pentland Theatre. Equity registered Nelio has also gained a distinction in the LAMDA Acting Solo Medalion, is fluent in Portuguese and is a keen player of sports.
