Born in Lisbon Bruno studied and practiced photography from an early age. A passionate film lover, Bruno became a student in the University of the Arts of London, BA Film and Video, with the aim of specializing as a Director of Photography.

“I have always been interested in unconventional light. My main references are related to the world of painting, were as in cinematography light and colour are fundamental to create a sense of perspective and space within the flat canvas.”

Bruno has worked in the film industry for the last six years, mainly in music videos, short films and feature films, always in the camera and lighting departments. Working in a vast number of productions enabled him to gain experience operating a variety of equipment to achieve different moods, atmospheres and effects. Some of the productions he has contributed have been play listed by Mobo 2007, Channel U, MTV and other Sky channels.
