Jennifer trained at Central St Martins School of Art and Design in London and has worked as a set assistant, and costume maker and designer. She recently designed the set and costumes for the contemporary dance piece Impede as part of a collaboration with the Central School of Ballet and has worked as a costume assistant on Masque of the Red Death, Pheadre and Faust.
Jennifer is bi-lingual, speaking both Japanese and English fluently. She is interested in working in both countries, experimenting with cultural exchange through collaborations, particularly in dance and theatre.
Currently working from London her experiences and skills lie in costume designing and making where she looks to further her knowledge working on stimulating projects and collaborations. Her future ambitions lie in designing for dance, contemporary dance, theatre, music video, live events and film.
